Classic single-shot rifle with falling block action. High grade walnut stock with polished blue steel receiver and barrel, drilled and tapped for scope mount, full octagon barrel, 22 LPI cut checkering, Pachmayr® Decelerator recoil pad. Includes one-piece scope base and sling swivel studs.

Overview

Well over one hundred years old, the Model 1885 still impresses with solid lock up, exceptional accuracy, unparalleled looks. The Model 1885 has been synonymous with accuracy since the turn-of-the-century rifle matches in Creedmoor, New York; when long-range shooting was as popular as professional football. The falling block design is strong and has been utilized for a broad variety of calibers for more than 100 years. This version incorporates a Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad to soak up the recoil of the cartridge, ensuring comfortable shooting, round after round at the range or in the field.
