Cowboy action shooting is one of the fastest growing shooting sports. Shooters must have speed and accuracy, while recreating the spirit of the 1880's. Guns, costumes, and ammo must fit the period. This means making ammo from lead bullets since jacketed bullets are not allowed. It also means ammo must be designed to work properly in both lever action rifles and single action revolvers. RCBS Cowboy dies are built to slightly different dimensions than the regular dies to allow optimum sizing, expanding, seating and crimping needed to load great lead bullet ammo.

Included in the RCBS Cowboy Roll Crimp 3-Die Set are three dies that have been optimized for use with lead bullets. These dies have also been built to different dimensions than standard RCBS dies to allow for proper sizing, expansion, seating, and crimping.
