Berger’s 25 Caliber 133 Grain Elite Hunter Bullets were designed to give hunters the outstanding long range capabilities of cartridges like 25 Creedmoor, 25-06 Remington, 25×47, and 25 Precision Rifle Cartridge (PRC). They feature a heavier weight and utilize a hybrid ogive design which allows these bullet to retain energy for greater hydrostatic shock on targets at both close and long range. The Elite Hunter Bullets combine the tangent and secant designs to optimize efficiency, reduce wind-drift, and minimize sensitivity to seating depth. In addition, the Elite Hunter Bullets are very similar in performance to Berger’s Hybrid Target series, but are outfitted with thinner J4 precision jacket. This causes the bullet to penetrate 3 to 4 inches before rapidly expanding and causing a wound cavity up to 15 inches – the hydrostatic shock from this impact causes most animals to drop instantly.
