Installing an Alumina Lens Shade on a Leupold riflescope will significantly improve its imaging capability when dealing with the inevitable in-your-face lighting scenario. This precisely-machined metal shade is engineered to thread directly onto the objective bell - it's extremely effective when your field of view becomes washed-out by errant rays of light.

This Alumina shade is 4" long, and it is compatible with post-2004 50mm VX-1, VX-II, VX-III, VX-3, and Mark 4 Riflescopes. It is not compatible with other types of Leupold riflescopes.

Alumina lens shades with an identical diameter can be threaded together to create custom lengths to suit specific or unique shooting situations.
