High grade lever-action Model 1886 rifle chambered for powerful historic cartridges, case colored receiver, lever, forearm cap and crescent buttplate. 24" blued octagon barrel. High grade III/IV satin finish checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forearm. Marble Arms front sight and adjustable rear sight; receiver tapped for optional peep sight.
A historic heavy hitter. The 1886 lever-action repeating rifle was designed by firearms genius John M. Browning with the purpose of creating a lever-action rifle capable of firing the heavy hitting cartridges of the period - notably the 45-70. The action was originally designed for use with black powder cartridges but was designed with such inherent strength that it was easily capable of handling smokeless powder cartridges. The Deluxe Rifle is a perfect blend of heavy hitting performance, historic looks, and modern ergonomics that will make it fun to shoot for years to come.
