The 338 WBY RPM (Rebated Precision Magnum) is based on the Weatherby 6.5 RPM necked up to accept a 338 caliber bullet. The 338 RPM was designed to take advantage of Weatherby 6-Lug action to get magnum performance in a 5lb rifle. The large body diameter, low body taper, and 35-degree shoulder mean that case capacity is greatly increased, leading to higher velocities.

Nosler® AccuBond®
The AccuBond is a boat tail design with a lead-alloy core and copper-alloy jacket. The AccuBond bullet represents the most advanced bonded core bullet technology to date. Through a proprietary bonding process that eliminates voids in the bullet core, AccuBond marries Nosler’s traditional copper-alloy jacket with its special lead-alloy core. The result is a bullet that flies true, penetrates deep, won’t cause extensive barrel fouling and retains 60-70% of its weight. Nosler’s Solid Base® at the rear of the bullet acts as a platform for large diameter mushrooms. The polymer tip helps protect against deformation while helping to initiate expansion upon impact.
