The CDL Stainless Fluted began as a Limited Edition offering that became so wildly popular Remington was compelled to make a full production run. These rifles are no longer considered 'limited edition' but they are carefully crafted exactly the same as the originals. The cylindrical receiver is machined from solid stainless steel bar stock, and is designed to give the rifle a stable bedding base in the stock for consistent shot placement. Engineered with the now famous "three-rings-of-steel" the bolt face locks up inside the counter bored breach which is surrounded by the receiver. This gives you one of the strongest bolt actions available. This rock solid receiver is drilled and tapped for scope mounts and houses the X-Mark Pro Trigger that breaks like glass. Equipped with a stainless steel fluted barrel and a beautiful American walnut stock, this is a handsome rifle that is built to perform just as good as it looks.
