Hornady's Superformance ammunition uses the highest quality components to create more impressive performance… Superformance. The progressive Hornady powder generates velocities 100 to 200 fps faster than standard loads without an increase in felt recoil, muzzle blast, fouling, or loss of accuracy. It performs consistently in any temperature range, and is safe for use in all firearm types including semi-autos, lever guns, and pump actions.

This particular Superformance round utilizes Hornady's CX projectile. These bullets utilize a monolithic copper alloy design that won't separate, delivers devastating terminal performance with deep penetration, and has 95% weight retention. A Heat Shield Polymer Tip resists aerodynamic heating and provides a consistently high ballistic coefficient for the bullet's entire flight path. Simply put, it is a very high-quality projectile which offers superior hunting performance.

ATTENTION: Due to material and supply shortages Hornady has temporarily suspended the use of nickel-plated brass cases. You may receive traditional brass cases instead.
