The H6 Big Boy Rifle & Carbine is offered in several configurations to suit different preferences and uses. The rifle features a full-length 20″ barrel and is available with either a standard or large loop lever. The more compact carbine comes equipped with a large loop lever and a 16.5″ barrel for quicker handling in tight spaces or thick cover. Both configurations feature octagon-profile steel barrels as another respectful nod to the rifles that helped shape the American West – blued for corrosion resistance, polished, and finished with hand-filled gold rollmarks.
Magazine capacity varies by configuration, with ten rounds in the rifle and seven rounds in the carbine. Except for the .327 Federal Magnum and .41 Magnum variants, a side loading gate positioned just below the ejection port allows the magazine to be topped off without removing the rifle from the shoulder, while the removable tube magazine provides safe, quick, and convenient unloading.
To get you on target, the H6 Big Boy is equipped with a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight with a reversible insert. One side features a white diamond to help align the brass bead front sight, while the opposite side offers a clean sight picture for those who prefer less visual clutter. For shooters who favor magnification, the receiver is drilled and tapped to accept a scope base.
