This EGW Picatinny rail is the perfect upgrade for the Remington 740, 742, 760, Weaver 62, and Ithaca 37, converting your receiver to a universal mounting platform. By replacing the old two-piece Weaver 62 bases with a solid one-piece rail, you gain the flexibility to mount virtually any scope or red dot sight with proper eye relief.
Machined from domestic 6061 T6 aircraft aluminum, this rail is lightweight and rigid. The extruded center channel running down the middle of the rail reduces overall mass without sacrificing durability. The cross slots run the full length of the mount, allowing you to use modern Picatinny or Weaver-style rings.
