This load is designed as the world's premier deer load for .44 magnum. The cast bullet is not considered soft, but it is not really a HARD cast bullet either as it only has a BHN (Brinell Hardness Number) of 12 so, it could be termed a medium/hard cast bullet. The bullet is properly alloyed, lubed and is gas checked; it will NOT lead foul barrels.
