Developed specifically for those who spend time in bear country, whether for work or recreation, these loads feature our heaviest slugs and maximum energy transfer…up to 3,545 foot pounds at the muzzle. They will function beautifully in just about any 2 3/4" chamber, in rifled and smoothbore barrels.
Their large frontal area—nearly 3/4" in diameter—transfers all that inherent energy over a broader front than the largest rifle bullet, resulting in instant shock and the best possible outcome in a bear/human encounter.
