Army Navy retailed Guns for the British military during the period when "the sun never set on the British empire." As such, they typically sold robust and reliable firearms as their soldiers needn't have issues when half way around the world. The Army Navy name appeared on many grades and makers of guns as they had the guns made in the trade and marked with their name. W.C.Scott, Webley & Scott and Midland made most of their guns, though others certainly turned out guns for them.
