The Savage Model 25 Walking Varminter ushers in a new breed of varmint rifle. With a specially designed and sized action, the receiver of the Model 25 is scaled to fit smaller centerfire cartridges. This makes the entire rifle much more compact and easy to pack, giving you centerfire performance in a package that approaches the size of popular rimfire rifles.

Naturally, this Savage rifle includes the legendary Accutrigger. Famous for a low pull weight without sacrificing safety, the Accutrigger is right at home on this .17 Hornet rifle. The detachable, four round box magazine is quick and convenient, and the included scope mounts will accept any picatinny/weaver style ring.
