A mint condition Winchester John Wayne commemorative carbine produced in 1981. This rifle features beautifully figured satin-finished American walnut, an extended forearm and straight grip stock, both with deep cut checkering.
Receiver: Antique pewter finish w/engraved stagecoach scene and the names of John Wayne’s most popular films.
Barrel: 18.5" deep gloss blued w/“JOHN WAYNE COMMEMORATIVE” on the right side in silver lettering.
Upper tang is inscribed with a John Wayne autographed signature.
Sights: blade (front), semi-buckhorn (rear)
A nickel-silver medallion is embedded in the right side of the butt stock and depicts a likeness of John Wayne.
