Description
Bergara's B-14 Sierra Wilderness offers the perfect combination of customization and versatility. It features a traditional sporter style stock similar to the one found on the Ridge, but features multiple customization options and is optimized for better ergonomics. The grip is slightly more vertical for better placement of the dominant hand, and the comb is adjustable to ensure perfect alignment between their eye and a mounted optic. The stock also features interchangeable 1/4" spacers to fine tune length-of-pull adjustments. Adding to the B-14 Sierra Wilderness's customization is the M5 bottom metal cut out. This allows the user to convert the rifle to accept AICS style magazines or an M5 floorplate. The ability to switch between a fixed and detachable magazine is perfect for shooters that might want the mag capacity of the AICS pattern magazines during the summer shooting season, but like the security of the M5 floorplate during hunting season. Like all of the rifles in the B-14 series, the Sierra Wilderness uses Bergara's super smooth B-14 action, which utilizes a two-lug system with a sliding plate extractor and a coned bolt nose and breech to ensure a smooth feeding and extraction of the cartridge. Additionally the Sierra Wilderness's barrel features deep fluting, a No. 5 taper, 5/8x24" threads, and a multi-directional Omni Muzzle brake.
