The Barnes XPB Pistol projectile is built with Barnes' patented X-Bullet technology which consists of an all copper bullet. This solid copper option dramatically increases penetration over a typical jacketed lead core bullet. In addition these copper projectiles provide superior expansion, weight retention, and energy transfer all of which are critical since these projectiles are ideal for hunting and self-defense loads. Barnes' XPB projectiles are exceptionally accurate and also can be useful when shooting in practice areas similar to small indoor ranges.
