The Barnes MIL/LE TAC-XP projectile was original developed for Law enforcement applications which called for a 100% copper projectile specifically for practice environments which required the use of lead free projectiles. Barnes TAC-XP pistol bullets maintain their original weight and track straight after being fired through intermediate barriers like car doors, plywood, and automobile windshield glass. This makes Barnes TAC-XP ideal for self defense, or hunting situations.
