Common Questions

Q: Why is there a "-b or -c, etc" at the end of the firearm description?  What does this mean?

A: We show the unique grain of wood in the pics for every firearm we have on our site.  What you see in the picture is the firearm you will receive in the mail.  The product descriptions for these firearms are the exact same and our computer database needs to have a way to tell the firearms apart.  That is why we add the "-a or -b" at the end.  The "-b" simply means it was the second of that particular firearm entered into our inventory.

Q: Why is "name of gun club", and "date of birth" required when purchasing certain items in your store?

A: In order to complete the registration of a rifle or shotgun it is required to have your date of birth.  To register a handgun we require the name of your gun club and date of birth.

Q: Does prophet River offer discounts to other dealers?

A: Yes, we will offer discounts to other dealers and not-for-profit organizations. The discount percentage will vary by brand.
